Ufone Pays Tribute To War Hero MM Alam

Provider Ufone has announced today pay tribute to the hero of the 1965 war and the most brilliant son of the soil, Air Force Brigadier General (RETD), Muhammad Mahmud Alam, one who did not.

Muhammad Mahmud Alam, the Pakistan Air Force (PAF) spokesman confirmed, died yesterday after a long illness. He is 78.

War with India in 1965, Squadron Leader MM Alam shot down two enemy aircraft, damaged on September 6 3​​.

Sept. 7, the day when he rewrote the history of the air war shot down five Indian Hawker Hunter fighter in air-to-air combat, in less than 60 seconds. First four down within the span of 30 seconds.
