It looks Pakistani Facebook users will have to face a ban on the social networking site Facebook. Peshawar High Court yesterday told authorities to take immediate measures to prevent the "profane material" in the social media sites, specifically on Facebook, and within 20 days to seek a detailed response.

Peshawar High Court Chief Justice Dost Muhammad led a division bench of judges issuing named Arif Khan.The lawyers said, the authorities should take immediate measures to prevent the desecration and controversial material, specifically on social media sites submitted a petition, in order to respond on Facebook.

Chief Justice observed facebook,and said, anti-Islamic material on social media sites to incite religious sentiments and the "cause social chaos." They also notice the Interior, Pakistan Telecommunication Authority officials, within 20 days seek a detailed reply.

Pakistan currently
does not have adequate filtration system - which could filtere at a particular site profanity. According to the Peshawar High Court orders, they have been instructed to block PTA and their department's Facebook page and anti-Islamic content.
