Viber, is a multi-platform application that allows mobile phone users between voice and text chat, and now has released a desktop version of the application, for Windows and Mac.

This landmark announcement yesterday after Viber is now officially taken on Skype about more than 600 million users.

The Viber said, it has more than 200 million users from a variety of platforms, and the user base after the introduction of the desktop version and nine new languages​​, recently added to the pool may grow exponentially.

The Viber said, it adds 40 million new users every day, but only in 2013, an increase of 60 million users.

The Viber said, it will make use of the application from the desktop video phone. The video call feature is currently in the testing phase, the mobile version of the application will be launched in the near future.

Desktop version, users will simply use their mobile account to log on to Viber. The desktop version of Viber design, the user can cross-platform communication (voice, SMS, MMS, video). All contacts and other data is also set to sync seamlessly between mobile applications and the desktop version.
