PTA Directs Telecom Operators to Stop Inaami Schemes

The following letter, the Pakistan Telecommunication Authority, various telecom operators have been instructed to stop Inaami scheme (Award Scheme) with immediate effect.

The PTA letter, sent to all the telecom operators, the Islamabad High Court Act mentioned in these directions. PTA requires all carriers tomorrow, March 21, 2013, to submit a compliance report.

It is worth mentioning, PTA directed telecom operators - in April 2012 - before to stop inaami plan, but all carriers approached the Islamabad High Court a writ petition against the instructions.

However, the petition, the court dismissed the last week and telecom operators were asked to immediately stop this bonus plan.
