Remember the last time we told you the the PTCL (ultra) high-speed broadband FTTH, it seems that things are rolling in the positive direction. PTCL refused to share any information with us, then we assume that the project is in the testing phase, at that time.

Now - through a WiredPakistan users - we all know that FTTH high-speed broadband services are provided by the PTCL Islamabad, Lahore and Karachi in limited areas.

According to the marketing brochure, these high-speed broadband services, the following prices:

  • 4 Mbps: Rs. 2,999
  • 6  Mbps: Rs. 5,999
  • 8 Mbps: Rs. 7,999
  • 10 Mbps: Rs. 10,999
  • 20 Mbps: Rs. 13,499
  • 50 Mbps: Rs. 15,999
  • 100 Mbps: Rs. 25,999
 All of these packages - if - Unlimited calls and Smart TV service is free of charge. One-time installation cost of Rs. 15,000 ares applicable.

50 Mbps package seems to be the best value and the most suitable for a variety of medium and large enterprises. Home users, on the other hand, will meet most of 10 Mbps.

Areas of service availability, including F-11 and Centaurus in Islamabad in Islamabad Blue Zone.

It seems that the service test so far as the pilot detailed information available services is very limited. Internet hungry enthusiasts can contact PTCL sales staff for further information and service deployment.
